Location

The Canfield House Bed & Breakfast is located at 4138 Portage Point Drive in Onekama, Michigan, right along the shore of Portage Lake. If you’re coming from downtown Onekama, head north on M-22 and turn left onto Portage Point Drive at the curve by the lake. Follow Portage Point Drive for a short distance and you’ll see The Canfield House on your right. If you’re arriving from the north (Arcadia, Frankfort, or Traverse City direction), turn right onto Portage Point Drive from M-22 and follow the shoreline—our inn will appear on your right. Look for our historic white house with a wraparound porch, lakeside views, and a small sign near the pine tree. Parking is available onsite. If you reach the Portage Point Inn area, you’ve gone slightly too far—simply turn around and head back toward Onekama and you’ll see us along the lake.
